On Wednesday, August 15, two of our residents indulged in an outing to our local Highland Rim Headstart. Signature HealthCARE of Erin adopted the Headstart about two years ago. Which means we interact with the school by holding different activites at the Headstart location or the students will come here to our facility, and we do this quite frequently.
Ms. Georgia Nell Hudson enjoyed reading to the students. Georgia was excited to be able to be a part of this activity and to share some time with the pre-k class at Highland Rim.
Ms. Sally Harris reads to a different class at the Headstart. She was excited about getting to share a story with the pre-k class.
After reading to the headstart classes, activities and residents of SHC distributed school supplies to the children. The school supplies included folders, scissors, pencils, rulers ,etc. The supplies are for the students to take home, for any projects they may have after school hours.
Below is the letter of Thanks from the Pre-K at Highland Rim Headstart for the donated school supplies.
